Hello my name is Carol,

I am a successful clinical entrepreneur, coach and mentor with over 28 years experience in healthcare.  My mission is to support individuals to make career change through design thinking, community and building on existing strengths.

I have worked with individuals and organisations within the UK and Internationally as a clinical fellow for NHS England and through my research with Stanford University, USA.

As Head of Innovation at an acute hospital I commercialised nine products, including the first NHS skincare range which won multiple awards and was featured on the BBC One Show.  In 2014 I was listed as one of the top fifty innovators in healthcare by the Hospital Service Journal.

Digital Health

Building on my work implementing digital apps and technology in the NHS (including the DOH Scan4Safety programme) I  successfully completed the ground breaking NHS Digital Academy programme in cohort 1.  The programme was designed to develop digital leaders across the UK healthcare system.   Inspired by the programme I became part of the faculty team at University of Edinburgh as an online tutor and mentor.

Coaching and Mentoring

A qualified mentor for the NHSE Clinical Entrepreneurship programme I developed the Pivot coaching and mentoring offer based on my experience and qualitative research.  In addition I am an accredited Designing Your Life and Strengthscope Coach.
